The Film Trainer Visits Billy Ellis
I had the pleasure of visiting Billy Ellis, the owner of Tintology (Since 2018) in Melbourne, Florida. Billy has been a premier XPEL dealer for the past two years, and I couldn't be prouder of him for the tremendous growth he has achieved in that time. During my visit, I had the opportunity to train Billy on ClearPlex, a windshield protection tint.
As soon as I arrived at Tintology, I could see why Billy's business has been so successful. The shop was clean, organized, and equipped with the loads of tint and PPF! Billy and his wife Kristina were friendly and welcoming, and I knew right away that we were going to have a productive visit!
After catching up on the latest industry news, I introduced Billy to ClearPlex. This innovative product is a clear, multi-layered film that is applied to the exterior of a car's windshield. It protects the glass from damage caused by rocks, debris, and other hazards on the road. ClearPlex is also highly effective at blocking harmful UV rays, which can cause skin damage and fade interior upholstery.
Billy was eager to learn about ClearPlex and its benefits. We spent several hours going over the installation process, discussing pricing strategies, and practicing on a demo windshield. Billy was a quick learner, and I could tell that he was excited to offer this new service to his customers.
As the day came to a close, I could see that Billy was already making plans to incorporate ClearPlex into his business. He was excited to offer his customers a new level of windshield protection, and I was proud to have played a small role in his success. Visiting Tintology and working with Billy and Kristina was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to seeing all the great things they will accomplish in the future.
